Mom's changed out the pastels of the summer Pansies and Petunias for Mums in Autumn colors. My Daisies have all gone for now. Our apple tree is tapped out, applesauce waiting in our freezer for the cool mornings when it will be served hot for breakfast...

Those flowers are beautiful! Are they real??? I was just on a walk on Sat....and looking around...thinking...WOW...fall is well on it's way!!! It's still hotter than the dickens here, but there are still signs of fall!!! And you have an apple tree???? And it's already produced apples this year???? SO FUN! We like to go apple picking in the fall - it's a fun treat for the family because we get to go to the mountains! : )
Shawnda: Yup - real flowers! And, uh, if you develop a craving for apples, please just send your hubby over to the Safeway. You're banned from ladders for at least a few weeks!!
