***The Chef***

Malachi tested his culinary gifts by making Mommy a delicious mud pie.

Mom was appreciative, but reluctant to try his "chockwit" treat, so Kai got the whole thing all to himself. He offered me some...

...but I know better then to accept dessert from a kid who thinks our bunny poops out Junior Mints.

The Theory

I'm working a hypothesis concerning the sublimation rate of crystallized carbon dioxide. I wonder if it's directly proportional to the quantity of substance submerged in, divided by the specific density of H2O...

Testing the Theory

Mmmmm. Yes. Just as I suspected. Very Interesting.

Second Generation Friends!

It was so fun having a playdate with Sophie - she even let Mommy put clips in her hair (Mom loves to fix little girl's hair and jumped on the opportunity to borrow Sophie. She'll likely continue this behavior until we get a sister.). Our Mommy and Sophie's Mommy grew up together and have been the best of friends since 6th grade! They were even pregnant together. Now Malachi and I are friends with George and Sophie! I think that's pretty neat!

We all got together and helped Mommy strip the bed so that she could wash the sheets. We sang, "Ring aroun' da rosie, pocket fulla posies..."

"ashes, ashes, all fall down!"

Solomon's feeling a bit sluggish this morning. Uuugh.

Today we went down to Lebanon to visit the hospital where Daddy has begun his "Radiological Technician Internship". We've been curious where he goes to learn about X-Rays. Gramps and Gram went, too! After we saw the equipment and met some other students we ate lunch together in the cafeteria. They even had frozen yogurt!

After lunch, Daddy took us on a tour of the "Healing Garden". There were Koi, huts and trails to explore.

There were lots of rocks to climb...Gram said that I reminded her of Daddy when he was small. I guess he was quite a climber, too.

It was so fun to see where Daddy goes every day!

Papa and Goga got a new kitten named Roxy! Malachi just couldn't wait to kiss her.

We went over to meet her, and had loads of fun playing! We love our Papa and Goga's house anyway, but now we love it even more!

We went to another pumkin patch with our Homeschool group today! I liked this one even better then the last one! Daddy was able to come with us this time, and it was great to be together!

We got to ride on a tractor-pulled cart. Out to the pumkin patch to pick out a nice pumkin and some Indian Corn!

It was pretty chilly out there in the carriage, so Mommy and brother cuddled up close to stay warm.

Malachi's legs got a little tired, so Daddy let him have a ride.

Then the goat kissed me good-bye!

Mom took brother and me over to Eazy Orchards this morning. Boy, did they have a lot of pumkins! Mommy is going to teach me how to make a pumkin pie this weekend. That should be a bunch of fun!

We found a huge one! Can you imagine how big of a pie this thing would make?

Then we went over and pet all the animals in the petting zoo. The sheep were so nice!

When we were through, we went in the shop and bought hot doughnuts and apple cider! It was Kai's first time having cider, and he was quite impressed!
