I wish I could say that Solomon had a better birthday than he did. He and Levi both came down with the stomach flu. We didn't know that Levi had it until he projectiled in Wal-Mart. Twice. But at least we got the Sprite.
And, of course, I had told Solomon that he could pick out a movie at Hollywood Video. Needless to say, he didn't want to skip that, as it was the silver lining for his otherwise pathetic birthday. So, we went to rent a video. The trip consisted of me waiting on the curb with the puker while Solly and Kai ran in and chose what he wanted. The they came out to sit on the curb with the puker while the baby and I ran back in to grab his choice and check out. Luckily this worked because the storefront consists of huge windows through which we could see one another during the whole process. I think the clerk was a bit confused, though!
Then, as we headed for home, Levi let 'er rip all over the van.
Perfect end to a perfect birthday.

What a mess, the flu has hit just about everyone around here.I always hate when the kids are sick on holidays,we rarely have a Christmas w/o illness.
Benton did that at CostCo a few months back... My sympathies!
Nothing worse than a puker in the van! I am soooo sorry. I hope everyone feels better soon AND someone other than you has to clean the van.
Sigh - and I was no help at all as you had just brought me home from the hospital from having knee surgery that morning. Sorry Hon!
On top of your sick crew you still came by to check up on me too ~ you earned the title of "Super-Mom" AND "Super-Daughter" all in one day. I sure appreciate you sweetheart! Mom/Nana
